This month we’ll explore the power of song to connect us to ourselves, to each other and to the land. Musicians Walli Sawatzky, Carol McMullen and Monique Hobbes will play the circle. Find your spirit in singing folk music!
Cedar Circle Sunday Afternoons are reflective experiences with other like-spirited individuals who desire to slow down, and listen to their own soul with the soul of the land at Ignatius Jesuit Centre.
Each ninety-minute gathering is unique, the common denominator being the attentive exploration of connections between nature, individuals and community. Components include contemplative practices, land-basing learning, communal creativity, meaningful conversation and artistic expression. The land is always met as partner and teacher. Discovery is sought.
Every third Sunday of the month between 2:30-4 pm, the gatherings take place both outside and in, depending on the clemency of the weather.
